    Angela, a native Kent County community member, and Professional Ballet Dancer for First State Ballet, brings the arts to Kent County through a non profit organization at Loblolly Acres. Angela has been dancing since she was 10 years old and getting to share her craft with Delaware. In addition, Angela has joined the Loblolly Acres team in bringing local artists, vendors, and events to Kent County Delaware.     Catherine "Cat" Jenkins is the Kent County Tourism's Marketing and Communications Manager. She loves to showcase the hidden gems in the county as well as support local businesses. She is originally from Maryland and graduated from Salisbury University with a BA. In her free time, she hangs with friends and coaches a basketball team at the local Rec Center.

    Abby grew up in north central PA and has been in Delaware for 18 years. She has worked with people with disabilities since she was 12 in various contexts including Special Olympics, group homes, summer camps and the classroom as a teacher. She founded Embrace Delaware, Inc. in 2012 with the goal of creating community and a safe place for people with disabilities and their families. Abby enjoys being outdoors camping, hiking and kayaking when she isn't managing Embrace Delaware, Inc.

    Fresh out of college, Tabler contributed the photography for “The Illustrated History of American Civil War Relics,” which taught him how to work with museum curators, collectors, and white cotton gloves. He met a man in the Shenandoah Valley who played the musical saw, a Knoxville fellow who specialized in collecting barbed wire, and Tom Dickey, brother of the man who wrote ‘Deliverance.’

    In 2006 Tabler circled back to these earlier encounters with Appalachian culture as an idea for a blog. AppalachianHistory.net today reaches 375,000 readers a year.

    Dave Tabler moved to Delaware in 2010 and became smitten with its rich past. His experience working with curators and collectors came in handy when he got the urge to photograph a love letter to Delaware’s early heritage: “Delaware Before the Railroads,” which was released late 2022.

She is also a Certified Grief Educator and Trauma-Informed Yoga instructor who is passionate about changing the narrative around grief. After many years serving victims of traumatic grief as a police-based victim services specialist, Crystal changed career paths to channel her expertise through a holistic healing lens. She now serves clients through in-person trauma-informed private yoga sessions and 1:1 grief healing sessions and grief healing support groups in-person, virtually, or outdoors in nature.

    As a permanently disabled professional and performing artist, Lauren is a passionate advocate for those in need of joy and healing, particularly pediatric MVPs (most Medically Vulnerable People) in the local community and across the nation. She is honored to partner with Pursuit For Peace’s leadership team of women to lead Delaware (a trauma-informed state) in character ambassadorship through therapeutic artistry.

    Tabitha Myers, MS, CISSN, is a sports nutritionist and personal trainer with more than 10 years of experience in the field of fitness and nutrition. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance degree from Logan University, is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, and is a certified sports nutritionist with the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). She resides in Magnolia with her husband and their two children.

    Doug Yorke is the Director of Marketing for Dover Motor Speedway. He has been with the Speedway for over 10 years and leads the marketing, social media, and fan events for the track’s annual NASCAR race week and other community-focused events. Before shifting gears into NASCAR, he worked in marketing at Octone Records in New York City. A board member for the CenDel Foundation, recent graduate of the Leadership Central Delaware Class of 2022, originally from Rumson, NJ, and moved to Delaware in 2012.
